“alt flyter, alt står” is a meeting between the artistic practices of Bernhard Bratsberg, Madelen Isa Lindgren and Henrik Nordahl. Although their practices differ in expression and materiality, they converge in the contrasts between soft and hard, organic and industrial, tangible and abstract.
In Nordahl’s work, we encounter a movement from the familiar and everyday toward the poetic and meaningful. Bratsberg’s oil paintings seek to give form to complex human experiences in the digital age. Lindgren works with the structures of nature and the intersection between survival and care.
Together, these practices create a space for exploring the tension between the transient and the stable. Between what flows and what stands.
